15 February 19:30 The17 Performance/Lecture The Performance Centre, University College Falmouth, Tremough Campus, Penryn, Cornwall

Bill Drummond will be giving a performance lecture at the Unversity College Falmouth, to both celebrate the performance by The17 on a fishing boat out in the Falmouth Bay the previous day and 20th anniversary of him breaking into the building in 1993. This break in was done for no other reason than he was in the town and had nothing better to do and wanted to see what the art looked like that was being done there. When confronted by some late working art students Drummond claimed he was a future visiting lecturer.

The17 will no longer perform the world premier of Score 318: CONSIDER along latitude 36.1 degrees North between Kitty Hawk on the Atlantic coast of North Carolina and Lucia on the Pacific coast of California.

Instead they were to perform it along Latitude 53.07 degrees North, from the beach at Skegness on the North Sea coast of England to the Atlantic facing cliffs of Inishmore off the West Coast of Ireland.

The performance will begin with Bill Drummond recording himself banging a bagpipe band bass drum on the beach at Skgness for five minutes and conclude with him playing back and then deleting the completed performance of Score 318: CONSIDER while sitting on the cliffs at Dún Aonghasa, Inishmore.

Inbetween Skegness and Inishmore, Drummond will have inlisted members of The17 to take part in this performance at numorous locations along the same parrallel. Photographic evidence of each of these groups of The17 may be dislplayed below:

23 - 25 April The17 Performance The Curfew Tower

The17 performed the world premier of Score 4: AGE within the Curfew Tower, Cushendall, County Antrim, Ireland. Although Score 5: PERFORM, which in a sense is a version of AGE, has been performed many times before, this will be the first time that AGE has been performed following the score precisely, as in a building with five floors and five lots of people of the right ages, if not 17 of each group. AGE was originally composed with the Curfew Tower in mind. This performance was also part of The17 Coast-to-Coast world tour.
